Bottled water is the best example of sales upgrade.

Ok, first off, I drink bottled water, FIJI, or Mount Franklin usually. Why?, because, I try to be moderately healthy and I find if I drink coke or soft drinks too often my skin doesn't look as good. So when I walk into a shop there's the normal coke/pepsi fridge and bottled water is the lesser of all evils. Plus it's convenient. I don't know how good the water actually is, but compared to soft drinks, it's got to be pretty good.

What I really like about bottled water is that the companies have taken the most abundant source on earth, put it in a wanky bottle and sold it to me conveniently. Brilliant. There's no real logical reason why I should buy it. I mean taps are everywhere.

What I like best about this is that it illustrates the power of sales. The waiter completely sold the clients on teh features and benifits on the water. If they had not been told otherwise, those people would have lived in a world where they though he was correct.

Brilliant.

Think about that compared to the product you have to sell.

Wow! I drink loads of bottled water. This movie is amazing and surprising. I know what you mean with the waiter - salesmanship at its best - really love the amazonian water, what a classic.
