Found an interest article by Bill Taylor from Harvard Business Publishing. He talks about the company Zappos and the step it has taken to ensure it's culture remains infection free.
Zappos is an online shoe retailer, it has millions of shoes to choose from and and so on. But it's hook is that but the customers experience above everything else.
One example, free shipping and free returns. So you can order the shoe/s you like, tet them out, and if you don't like them, send them back no big deal. The site deliberately mentions that shipping takes around 4 days, but zappos prides them selves on getting shoes out "same-day". This way the customer expectations are exceeded rather than met.
So when recruiting for new staff, they bribe the people to leave with up to $1000. Wich is awesome as the week will get weeded out. But also it is the king of all takeaways.
"look are you sure you want to work here, i mean look if you not, just take some money, here take a lot of money , cause we only hire awesome people...."
