Day in the Work Life: Blind Car Salesman

posted by Sam Stone 7 months ago

Check this out...
This guy Willie Scales 48. In the summer of 1998 he started a career in car sales. To his shocking surprise in the first week in November he started going blind. Yes blind!

As you would he started to get a little depressed at the news and then his sister suggested that he open his own business. So that is what he did.

Willie Scales
Age: 48 Owner of: Willie's Auto Finance LLC and Auto Repair

The Blind Commission installed all these call talking programs on his computers for all the paper work and accounts so he can keep a close eye..awe..ear to what is going on.

I had to laugh when he mentions about all the new things he had to learn like figuring out what cars were on the lot and where they were and how to make sure customers and staff don't rip him off.

Really goes to show you can do anything if you really want to.

Excuess or Results!

Anyway it is worth a listen. check it out http://marketplace.publicradio.org/display/web/2007/08/24/day_in_the_work_life_blind_car_salesman/
